Vegans of colors

I decided to come back to roots to  my vegan diet. From 7 years I am vegetarian and during this time from time to time I was on vegan diet. I need energy but good energy from good things and good food. I try to resume here what for me is vegan diet and vegan live style.

How does the vegan diet work?

While vegetarians eliminate meat, fish  vegans take a step further excluding all animals products milk, eggs, dairy. So I sad goodbye butter, yoghurts, milk chocolate and anything with galatin which comes from animal bones and hooves too, welcome fruits, vegetables, leafy greens whole grains, nuts, seeds and legumes.

But for me being a vegan is definitely more of a lifestyle choice and a philosophy than a diet. A vegan does not eat anything that is of animal origin. Vegans will not use animal based products for clothing, or any other purpose. A person can become a vegan because of ethical reasons involving animal rights, for environmental factors, or for better health. According to Wikipedia, approximately 0.2% to 1.3% of the US, and between 0.25% and 0.4% of the UK populations are vegans.

The tree reasons why I adopted veganism

-animals, definitely freedom from animals

-environment, I  believes that producing food through animal farming is inefficient, because animal feed production takes up a lot of land, fertilizer, water, and other resources – resources that could be used for feeding humans.

-healt, Vegans say “there are several plant based foods that are good sources of protein, such as beans, peanuts, and soya, the fat and protein content of cow´s milk is very different from human milk – vegans say that we are not designed for consuming cow´s milk.

Albert Einstein

“Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances of survival for life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.”
