Scoala Altfel Days
Posted by admin on Thursday, April 4, 2013 · Leave a Comment
Hello!
How are you? I hope you’re fine all. This week has been declared as ” Scoala Altfel ” (Other or different school in English ) by Ministry of Education in Romania. The Idea was for all school to get children involved into creativity, thinking, developing and sharing without much focus and pressure of regular teachers in their schools in which actively keeping on their educational process and working in more likely carrying out ” formal” education methods. This week was important for us , volunteers as well as children from each school especially Brasov city in which we volunteers work with. The Activity ideas have been prepared some weeks ago and were ready to be implemented and taking its own results in the end. And now, Let’s see through these three days what did we do and how we worked?
The First of Scoala Altfel started by Monday with participation of teenagers that were over 25 people from 8th class from School 13 in Brasov. It was morning and we thought they reached us with big expectations so we could read that from their eyes besides innocence of not knowing what to do. I and my colleagues played energizers and games with them in the early’s of morning. They seemed they have been enjoying so much in addition to fact that quality of games were bespoken to their ages. Especially the one in which they were belting down balls and try to catch goals were pleased by them. On the second phase, We offered them a ” teamwork-training” game about protecting eggs. The idea is that teenagers splitted into groups and obliged to create protection for eggs so that they can’t ever broken by outer factors when we threw them through our window. Eventually, They created stories about a life of Octopus watching it from an animation movie.
In second day, we were in Scoala 13 located in Tractorul with participation of Small kids that ranged between 6-7 ages group and so we splited into 3 groups as local and international volunteers and each team managed around 20 kids playing with them, preparing posters on which they stuck images about ” Hippo makes sport” ( Hippo face sport) and prepared cute rabbits all together.
In the last day, We went to Scoala 11 and we’ve played with children energizers and games such as shoot game, clapping hands and catch the fingers and then like we used to do for previous children, we splitted into groups. Children were preparing poster with Hippo thema and then created rabbits. We had really fun together and finished the last day of Scoala Altfel in that school.
All of us liked this idea for students in this special week and we appreciated.

Do you want to have a speech with someone in English?
Posted by admin on Thursday, March 7, 2013 · Leave a Comment
Hello,
Cheers guys how are you? Don’t believe in someone who might tell you English is tight language, not true. It is simple and easier if you have courage to develop it on your own. As it is used to be on headline , I picked up ” tricky ” word to say instead ” to talk, to speak ” which means English goes to its own way sometimes differently than other languages.
It is required to working a picky workshop and lessons with help of someone or sometimes by yourself practising every day and taking quizes up. Don’t get bored, make it more fun.. The example is to listen English songs, or find some American in the city by chance 🙂
I have repeating Interactive English learning activity which will be held today from 17.00 in Asociatia Colors, Mircea Cel Batran Nr. 4 , it won’t take much time at evening, however what you’ll learn is worth to come over us 🙂 We’ll be friends with Funny American Author John Pearson who has written the book called Learn me good. We ‘d take fun quizes too. Let’s build up together! ( We got dictionary 😛 ) I wait for you all, I’ll be there!
Enjoy with Hippo games for kids and teenagers

Hippo was the idea in which we can able teach and play some non-formal games with kids and teeangers, to be more spesific, aged between 2-18 included in door and outdoor games. In last summer, Volunteers of As Colors as whole were in Tractorul Park. We played outdoor games which make children excited and fun. We wished that we can do it again although winter condition came back strongly. So we found a way.. Amusements never ending for young generation. We created a serii of week including Hippo indoor activities that contain Board games, Puzzles, Creative workshops, Painting on paper or on wall, handmade stuff, Origami, Music games, Instruments, unsatisfied adrenalins and gifts for lovely kids. Some weeks ago, a group of children visited us to play games . They were amazing, so talented, clever and open-eyed. We had fun too as well as they had fun with us. They created, they became happier and their parents as well.
Last week, we met again for Hippo 6 Simturi in our activity center and this time we welcomed coming of ” spring” ( Primavara) We painted, we played Bingo, Jenga, and creative workshops ( we don’t forget to warm ourselves up before we start games ) If you’re interested in our Hippo games, Either your parents could register in website named http://plinideidei.ro/inscrie-te or if you’re teenager, either yourself. At 16 of March we will have ” Hippo 6 Simturi -Gust, Miros” in activity center (Mircea Cel batran Nr. 4) , Let’s join us!
Enjoyable and creative moments with kids in Directia Social Service

Salut!
Since the beginning of January, I started to go to ” Day Care Center for Children” of Directia de Servicii Sociale Brasov. It was almost one month ago when I met lovely children from there and their teacher Lily.. from my observations, She is nice, caring person of all her kids under her responsibility . First time, I was confused when I hugged all kids put smiles on their face, they’re full of life, energy and they do every thing with wistfulness in that Social service. We go always from the behind of school and trying to be on time.
In January, We went there with other volunteers Oggy, Anna,Carmen and me. The Idea was to play creative and non-formal games with children ages ranked as ” 7-8-9-10-11-12……” We went there in the morning and gathered all children in one big room and basically we started by playing ” Energizers” with them. Energizers were supposed to be like catching fingers, throwing balls and introductions and games were supposed to played such as Magician-tiger.., also I made suprise teaching to children ” Turkish words” They learnt so good, We became fastly friend with them. Eventually, we hugged them and landed a kiss on their chick. It was lovely day….
After one month, once again My collegues Mirelle, Jennifer and Mahilla , we went to same social center and made ” Martisoare ” with kids teaching them methods and how to do about, and then in rest of time We gave them cards with soil and seeds which we made for Photo exhibition of National parks of Romania. One of boys already opened the soil and feeded his plants immediately 🙂 Children had fun so much and I’m pretty sure they learnt something from this workshop on which they will repeat in future by themselves.
Thank you Lily for hosting us and giving us chance to work with you, I hope we will go there again to make children suprise up again.
Have a nice week

( it is called ” City of Monasteries” ) such as Voroneti.. dragomirna.. Roman is not special city but you will pass from there when you go Iasi 😉 I though that You have viisted Cluj many times, thats why I did not mention it 😛 it is probably one of best city in Romania as well. I’m here in Romania as you all know and I have spent crazy times full of laughter and smiling people who helped me.. to be honest , I liked all of what I did here , holding from trips till ateliers and workshops and activities I involved. It is not only belongs to someone else, also belong to you cuz simply If you want to learn something, you just learn without any question.!
You must avoid all prejudgments and smile to people and give your happiness make them feel you like them or you’re with them always does not matter If some day you will leave them and keep apart… so with this thought, I have done something that I did not do so far in most of time. I started to learn and draw attention to ” Bijuteries, necklaces, bracelets, colorful papers, beads, glasses, homemade candles and most important that I considered is ” Origami” art… it is like endless journey to the bottom of world… you folder and folder.. forever…you do same motions however things get different forms 🙂
In addition to this, I started to make ” charcoal pencil” illustrations as well with my own decision therefore , I made ” Bran castle” with pleasure! :p who knows what next will be 😉
I hanged up my origami on my ceiling 🙂 they look greatttt and adorable.. i feel like they will come to life and speak with me some day or may be angels will give ” soul” to my origami butterfly and she will fly away with her wings freely 😉
Don’t wait to make handmade things till your hairs got grey , do that right now before it is too late… it is worth to do it. As Kelly Clarkson says some people waits for a lifetime for a moment like this 😉
I recommend you to go ” Galeria Creativ” in Brasov to buy for this kind of ” Bijuteri and creative items and materials” you can create awesome things , I was there and I’m pleased to be there definetely 😉

Imagine with Dixit and win, welcome to Dixit world!

Did you hear about Dixit game? if not, I let you know now. Dixit is a imagination and challenging brillian game that allows for everyone work’s their own way to guess what photo gives inspirations on them . The Game has very simple rules where children even over 8 years old could play somewhat .
Do u wanna learn what’s going on with Dixit ,then read this short explanation below;
“Every picture tells a story – but what story will your picture tell?
Dixit is the lovingly illustrated game of creative guesswork, where your imagination unlocks the tale. In this award-winning board game, players will use the beautiful imagery on their cards to bluff their opponents and guess which image matches the story. Guessing right is only half the battle – to really succeed, you’ll have to get your friends to decide that your card tells the story!
Every turn, the storyteller will call out a short phrase or word to match the image on his card. Then each player will choose the card that most closely matches that phrase, and then everyone must guess which card the storyteller saw when he invented his brief tale. Correctly guess the storyteller’s card, and you’ll move ahead. Convince everyone else that your card is best, and you’ll do even better.” (1)
Good luck in the game , let the one who is good will win 😉

I watched a really nice movie in new year holiday it is ” Starbuck” a production of 2011 , Players as far as I know from France
however , surname of character ‘s is wozniak that sounded to me like Polish , i dont’ know 🙂 Briefly story of movie is ; One man in his past decides to donate sperm to have money from ” baby donut bank” . He really worked hard and finally his donut has been given to more than 500 babies and he earned huge amount of money. He is a man who is working as butcher together with his dad and brothers.
One day lawyer comes to his door saying” you got registered over 500 babies, congratulations! and his all life changes.. A film that sometimes makes us think, sometimes laugh and sometimes makes us holds up an example of life experiments on his way. Highly recommended, may be we might watch this all together oncoming weeks , why not 😉

Heaven of food, very warm.. I took shower with culture of Istanbul
Posted by admin on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 · Leave a Comment
As far as I remembered about this 2 weeks in Istanbul was that I had so much fun, joy , laughter and smile and tastes delicious food of istanbul and of my mom ! 🙂
I’m lucky that I have this rich food culture, as we’re not lucky for some aspects, such as ” metrobus, small buses” crowd problems and lack of respect much. I won’t say day by day what I did but I can say half of holiday is spent on roads in buses , Istanbul is big .. I landed off to Sabiha gokcen airport and my brother took me with his car up to home. I’m welcomed my mom, I was so happy too see also my small sister hugged me in sweet way.
Everday I tried to do something, I met to my best friend Enes in Istanbul in Taksim and we have sat in starbucks and chatted a lot about how was our lifes so far etc. Istanbul was hot like 15 degrees, it is not joke 🙂
It made me smile to see people who wore up thick jacket by 10 degrees, i said that oh god are you crazy? I m about go to marmara sea and swim away 🙂
Ok let’ say , I made food schedule , it was like first day meatball, rice, compot, second day.. kebab, ayran baklava…. it was going like this, long list 🙂 I got fat more and what I missed most was fish 😉
I made car tour with my brother, he drove me away sometimes, I spent my ” revelion” with Romanian people in Turkish houses:)) I found them and met them , they’re great big family living in Istanbul and was speaking perfect turkish each of them , confusing, I visited them they gave me a lot of food, we listened romanian music and watched romanian tv from satellite:-) Romanian woman cooked traditional food and some wine she gave me plus we put ornaments on our Christmas tree i took good photos, I ‘ll miss them …
Then next week I went to a “liberal author days” and ” memories” I met my friends again, and they were happy to see me. IN same week, one another friend of mine. spent hapily time again .
I played with my sister many games 🙂 also with my cousin serra, she loved my game , all this game I learn from brasov from my organization so I applied them, they did not stay in the air 😉
My sister loved ” samuray game” and ” memory cards” my cousin loved ” tiger, magician , monkey” game.. they teach this games to their friends too and she told me ” my brother i played this games with my collegues in school” I was proud of her. Hope this games will spread out and every single child will learn it all. Cuz we need this kind of creative games 😉
I balanced and I did not neglect nor my family nor my friends, so both became happy.. fun and modesty in one picture, this is what I like 😉
Beautiful event days in Casa Muresenilor
Posted by admin on Saturday, December 15, 2012 · Leave a Comment
Servus,
This week excepting Wednesday I was involved in Casa muresenilor events ( evenimente ) and I can say I really had fun .
People of Casa Muresenilor is so nice and friendly. I have been spending time with them at intervals since summer time… and was one of best time of my voluntary service experience 🙂
I want to talk about you and present you a bit more about ” Casa MUresenilor” . Every week especially from Tuesday to Friday, each day a different event occurs in this museum. Beautiful humans one from other is coming there to get deep consciousness of culture, music, history, Recital, presentation , Geography etc. whatever you look for regarding to culture is available in this museum although most of event is based on history by a majority. My colleagues have some day free, and some day they’re with me, it depends. For example Today, I worked with Marinela and Viorica. I saw Cristina just for few minutes. Valer was busy too. Viorica is so willing to learn English. She sometimes uses English words by pieces. she is successful and i encourage her 🙂 Marinela is my translator, she translates well. I love her daughter, omg such sweet girl. She sung X-mas Carol songs on Piata Sfatului on stage. was awesome. Lorena had free day too today, I didn’t see her.
Thursday I had prepared Sandwich and I shared with Rodica, she liked so much , she was modest cuz she ate only one piece 🙂 And me and Cristina is agree that all Romanian girls are beautiful. Cristina and me has many common points. She likes music and cooking too. May be she is Libra hehe who knows 😛 She sent me 100 the best Romanian receipts. I will put into practice but I don’t know when 😉
So, at 11 of December, Brasov Symphony Orchestr gave a small recital in Casa muresenilor…. it was good Sef was Florin who had lived in Turkey around 25 years and he speaks Turkish very well , I’m amazed. Here we see some sample photos from that day below;
Then at 13 of December , A group of young musicians gave us a passionate Guitar Recital. As a guest, there was a Spanish girl who played Violin. It was also nice, Visitors enjoyed.
Last even that happened today was ” Poet’s day … so member of FUNDATIA CULTURA ARIANA and Group of Caii verzi de pe pereti was there today to analyze Romanian literature and poets even reading some verses from the book
Laurenti Ciprian TUDOR was vice-moderator and moderator was Poet Adrian Munteanu .They managed all this event themselves with delicate presentations and expressions. He is sociologist (Laurenti) in the same time , in addition to this, He writes poems, and I learnt that he has poem about ” Istanbul ” too . By the way, Caii verzi de pe pereti means ” Green horses on the wall , as one of my friend told me, this means ” To dream something, to hope something, or some fantasies that people have” . Plz see the song of Smiley about this verses :
